Dear lord please help me to use the word NO more often.

Do you think if I chant this prayer it will begin to seep into my sub-conscious? I hope so...

Whew! I have had two crazy weekends in a row. They have both caused me to conclude that all shots are definitely bad and possibly all liquor in general, from now on I will attempt to stick with beer and wine only.

I left work Friday drove south to Bonaire taught a lesson and headed north for Athens. That's right I'm a crazy person who spends to much time in the car. I met up with the girls and we went clubbing. It was a girls night, and we had loads of fun. Some of us even ate Pokey sticks and dealt with a wee bit of pointless drama for good measure. Saturday we were lazy till about noon when we headed out to tailgate where we talked, ate, drank (yay! flip cup), and even celebrated an engagement. We left the bride-to-be to watch the game; she got to play games downtown. It's a toss-up who had more fun. I screamed a lot, lost my voice, and we all left after that really depressing fumble late in the fourth quarter. Did the necessary trek across campus to the car and headed to sleep. Sunday, Kat and I drove to ATL to visit Steph. She lives so far away these days we have to get our fill of visits when we can. I guess at least she's closer than her last move, Panama. We wandered the Mall of GA, tried on the super push-up at Vicky Secret (Kat looked like a Mexican Dolly Parton) to be silly, saw a movie, and ate some stellar Korean food made by Steph's mom. Mmm Mmm good!!!

This weekend I really didn't do to much exciting stuff, but JT is never allowed to encourage me to take shots again. Enough said. Saturday was a complete waste, see previous two sentences. Friday was good day I taught two lessons and ate lunch with a different Steph and her daughter. Sunday was also good and uneventful; I taught a lesson and hung out with mom.

Belated congrats to Bo and Meredith (the tailgate engagement couple) on there Wedding Tuesday before last and their subsequent move to California. I also wish them well as they move on to Japan in the next couple months. I will miss Mer's spirit and fun, greatly.
